The Marywood women’s basketball team is back from
its annual holiday hiatus and already piling up the wins. Honesdale’s
own Natasha Hessling is playing a key role in that success. The junior
power forward has started all 13 games to this point in the 2017-18
season. Hessling averages 26 minutes per game and is among the team
leaders in points (8.6), rebounds (7.2), steals (14), blocks (11) and
assists (17). The Pacers have notched back-to-back victories over Clarks
Summit University (69-46) and Rosemont College (76-59). They now stand
at 8-5 on the year. Natasha is the daughter of Bob & Marie
Hessling, Honesdale.
